On the incuse devices, that is Machine Doubling. The opposite is true for incuse devices.
Raised devices that are doubled dies are enlarged
Raised devices that have Machine Doubling, the outside edges of the devices are reduced with the contour missing.

Incuse devices that are enlarged are Machine Doubling.
On incuse devices that are doubled dies, the devices are reduced in size.
On these quarters the hub doubling is seen on the central areas of the devices. The outer devices are affected just opposite on the incuse devices. On the incuse devices on the coins, the devices are raised on the die, thus slight movement of the die before/during/after the strike enlarges the devices. On the ATB Quarter 70% of the coin show Machine Doubling. No listing for a DDR on the incuse devices on the outer ring. (Just the wrong area to find a doubled die)
