The surfaces have been ground/ sanded off either intentionally or unintentionally. There have been several of these popping up lately. Also coins are not printed, currency is. If it is a variety coin, then the value is reduced as much as 90% and becomes a problem coin. It is a stripped naked coin. (Your Zinc is showing!)
