**If I'm not supposed to post about IGC please delete the post, Sorry!!** First off I didn't send this to IGC, and probably would never send one the IGC. I just liked the coin and got it for what I thought was a decent price regardless of the slab its in. I've gone back and forth on the reverse toning. *I did have a hard time getting a picture of the reverse. It just turns up a little bit blurry. Just curious to know what you think, and what you think IGC thinks. I'll post grade at some point tomorrow. I figured this would be fun to contrast between IGC and PCGS or NGC. I like it. Part of the fun of coin collecting--if one comes cross a coin that appeals to them, and it's at a tolerable price, one picks it up. I could see a high-end AU grade.

I agree with an AU- 55, but knowing ICG, I bet they put it in an MS-67 slab lol.

the hits across the face are pretty deep. I would even think it could be details coin. prior to having a coin professionally graded by any service check here first for general comments to get a consensus on your decisions. could save you a lot of $$ in the future.

I'll have to respectfully disagree with the others in the AU group. This looks like an MS example to me. That said, the type of toning is not my preference and find it detracts, but to each their own. The hits on the obverse keep it from reaching higher than MS63 IMO, and could likely be MS62 depending on what may/may not be hiding u see the toning. Later die state is also apparent from the slightly mushy details ans heavy metal flow lines, more apparent on the obverse
Guessing ICG called this one MS64, my personally opinion is MS62/63 with the hits and toning detracting.

It looks like an MS63 coin to me. edit to add - here is a link to an ebay auction that will give you a chuckle about ICG. This one was posted on another forum by an ICG grader. Read the product description... https://www.ebay.com/itm/384356123925

the fields look relatively free of hits, but that toning could be hiding many sins, if not then MS63

Wow Dave700x, that ebay post is a crazy roller coaster! The coin does look a little better in hand as the pictures were difficult to get through the case. There were times I don't like the toning, but others when I look at it I kind of enjoy just how ugly it is. hahaha I'll post the results later. It hasn't been 24 hours yet.

Alright, Here is the grade from IGC... But first! I'd say this dime is around MS62-63. Here is a link to a PCGS AU-55 graded coin: https://www.PCGS.com/cert/27139345 And toning aside, I believe the coin is in a better condition than AU. Ok enough of stretching this out:

Oops how the heck did I miss that one! Yes, pretty typical over grade by ICG here. Again, tough to judge the fields with that toning, but overall the coin looks pretty hit free, sans the very obvious 4-5 hits on the bust. You're MS62/63 seems fair to me.

I thought the coin looked fairly good aside from the over grade on the slab. And the crazy toning. I knew all of that before buying it. I haven't decided if I'm going to crack it out or use it as an example.
