Found these through bank rolls and I had these for maybe 10 years now. I just kept these coins in regular white envelopes and just sort through them now.

My question is, why is it that the first coin appeared to be yellow in color? Does it looks like a brass or satin finish? Or both are just regular strike coins based from the provided photos?

Just curious on what you may have to say. Thank you.

Normal toning and color variation, nothing unusual.

I apologized, just realized I've posted the same reverse of coin #1. Anyway, you can see it on the last photo.

Thank you for your opinions.

Yes, both just look like a regular strike coins.

I just get the hang of it weighing all 1983 Pennies I found through CRH just to be sure but been good with 1982 Pennies to tell the difference. Nevertheless, I still weigh them though. I also play around weighing coins randomly.

By the way, coin #1 looks just like a regular strike coin but I happened to put it on the weighing scale in front of me together with the other coins placed in the envelopes I have pulled out.

I am aware 2009 Regular Strike Pennies for Circulation should just weigh 2.5g so I took a few of the 2009 Pennies I've already set aside for comparison. The only thing is, coin#1 on the photos weighed more than the other similar regular strike early childhood penny and the rest of the various 2009 pennies also weighed 2.5g

I am attaching photos with coin #1 weight being taken.

Your opinions would be very much welcome. Thank you.

Here is a satin finish early childhood/log cabin. It could be one of these. I can't tell from your photos though. These were 95% copper,5% tin and zinc (hence the higher weight)

Looks like bronze and the tone difference is the satin finish being from a mint set.
