2009 Pennies Early Childhood: Same Pennies But Different Color Or Toning?

I just kept these coins in regular white envelopes and just sort through them now. My question is, why is it that the first coin appeared to be yellow in color? Does it looks like a brass or satin finish? Or both are just regular strike coins based from the provided photos? Just curious on what you may have to say. Thank you. Report this Post to the Staff

I just get the hang of it weighing all 1983 Pennies I found through CRH just to be sure but been good with 1982 Pennies to tell the difference. Nevertheless, I still weigh them though. I also play around weighing coins randomly. By the way, coin #1 looks just like a regular strike coin but I happened to put it on the weighing scale in front of me together with the other coins placed in the envelopes I have pulled out. I am aware 2009 Regular Strike Pennies for Circulation should just weigh 2.5g so I took a few of the 2009 Pennies I've already set aside for comparison. The only thing is, coin#1 on the photos weighed more than the other similar regular strike early childhood penny and the rest of the various 2009 pennies also weighed 2.5g I am attaching photos with coin #1 weight being taken.
