Decided I needed a break and time to go back to the circulated wheats for a while. Found a roll of 1917 and this was the first (and so far only) coin I looked at. 49 more to look at, but with this find they can all be junkers and it'll still have been a fantastic roll. 1917 Lincoln Wheat cent doubled die - DDO-001, FS-101 Report this Post to the Staff

No big deal about my post, it's just a number, but what is more important is your coin. As an enthusiastic Lincoln collector I love this DDO! One of the true early doubled dies in the LWC series. In the end the roll turned out like most 1917 rolls, over half went into the cull bag and in the end this DDO was actually the nicest coin in the roll. Guess luck was just on my side.
