TNG Bedrock of the Community United States 10284 Posts	Posted 09/02/2021 2:40 pm to CCF Probably a grease build up with other fine debris that gradually filled the area of the die and was packed in tight in that area enough to produce a missing number. Commonly referred to a " Grease Filled Die". Imagine your boot treads as you walked through the thick clay mud.
