Hi! I'm a new member and I have a question about a Wheat penny missing the part of the the last number in date. What do I have here?

Probably a grease build up with other fine debris that gradually filled the area of the die and was packed in tight in that area enough to produce a missing number.
Commonly referred to a " Grease Filled Die".

Imagine your boot treads as you walked through the thick clay mud. Eventually the footprints you left would have less detail than your boots would have left without the mud packed in them.

Besides being a Grease Filled Die, it could also just be damage but
without a clear photo of the whole coin nobody can say for sure.
