Im no good at eyeballing raw copper, I'm looking at this one, seller wants $150.

What are your thoughts?

I dont really like the look. Coin looks to have been over dipped and lost all natural luster.

Just my "2 cents"

Surfaces have definitely been played with, high AU/UNC Details for me as well.

I agree with the upthread grading comments.

It looks like it has either a planchet flaw or two laminations on the obverse and some fantastic die cracks and a Retained Cud on the reverse.

A great amount of detail, but the photos hide any problems with the color. I agree that there is a good chance this was tampered with. Above GOD and TRUST, there could be a planchet flaw, strikethrough, or possibly corrosion was removed.

I gave it up and took some advice from along time ago. Snagged a PCGS slab. I'm to old to try and do the raw thing LOL.
