Best way to not let your dreams get dashed on the rocks, is to ask to see what it is first. Then the let down will be a lot easier. Everyone wants to find the 'Holy Grail' coins, when they think they have (but really they haven't) they call out on that.

IE: 1969-S DDO. Less than 50 out there probably. They find a normal coin and think they have found it. And they feel they we are the bad guys, for just telling them it is a normal coin. The people to what out for are the ones that tell them it is a normal coin, but still offer them a small offer. If it is not a valuable coin, why are they interested in it? Watch for the bait on the trap.
