I found this coin in my dad's things after he passed. I tried to find it online but haven't been able to. I found other silver dollars with snowmen on them but none like this one. It has letters SPM on the other side. Is it anything special or just a garden variety silver dollar? Thank you!
It's not actual currency. It looks like an ounce of silver so worth about $25. I don't collect these but they look like standard silver rounds, they are made in many different designs.
It's a generic silver round bullion coin, not a dollar. It's value is the silver melt price of the day, maybe a bit more if you find the right snowman loving person.
@silver, first welcome to CCF. Second, the letters SPM below the eagle might mean that this round came from the Shire Post Mint. Consider reaching out to them for more info.
