Hi all,

Is that a scratch or error? If it is error, is it die crack or lamination?

I have a few photos at differ angles for viewing.

Possibly a scratch.
But because of its irregularity I think it's more likely a strike-through that damaged the die.

Possible lamination issue? Last two photos show it well.

My eyes see a coin struck on a defective planchet (based on the last two images).

Impact damage on the die in incuse has produced a relief image of it on the coin.

Interesting, but not extremely unusual.
An error, very much worth keeping.

I am with @commems. In photos 3 and 4 I see a long planchet defect that runs nearly rim to rim. As the coin was struck and ejected from the die, it manifested itself as a ridge in some places, a crack/delamination in others in others.

With only raised areas, I would have guessed it was a die defect.
