I bought this one for a song because the shop was confused and thought that anything in a circulated GSA holder was circulated. As it turns out, of course, GSA put any toned coin in those holders. Most were BU.

Sharper pics with more light on the surfaces would help. Obverse pic in particular is soft and dark.

I bought it for $110 a few years back which was mid-AU type pricing at the time.

The "shop" workers were not adequately trained to know if a Morgan dollar was BU or circulated. Thus anything with toning was likely put into a circulated holder.

My experiences with GSA's in the original holders are MS 64 about 70 % of the time. The ones you see on the market anyways. Looks to be around that. Still though, a good buy ! Congrats!

MS64+ although I'm not really a fan of the crescent moon.

the 84(CC) should be sharp and bold. the eagle breast is a little weak and around the ear is a tad weak for this year. luster looks pretty good based on these photos. a few scuffs and marks on the obverse but overall surface preservation is pretty good. not a fan of the dark toning but at least its symmetrical. i'll put it in the MS64 box. nice appreciation from your original purchase. cant go wrong with pretty much every CC coin
