Copper plateds are detected by weight. They are 0.4 of a gram lighter. I have to admit: the detail doesn't appear to be as sharp as a steel cent.

. Is your white balance out of adjustment? Always best to remove coins from holders before taking photos whenever possible. See if it is attracted to a magnet. John1

There are some odd areas of surface porosity around E PLURIBUS UNUM.

Agree with John1. Photos taken using 'neutral' lighting would be beneficial.

And an accurate weight... Copper cents weight is 3.11g +/- 0.13g. Steel cents weight is 2.7g BTW, the text of Public Law 77-815, which authorized the steel cents, is hard to find. https://tile.loc.gov/storage-servic...sl-c77s2.pdf (jump to page 1092). Spoiler: We could have had another 3 cent piece! Other than saying it couldn't be a silver coin and then providing for a whole lot of language about silver, the specifications of the 1c and 3c coins were left up to the Secretary of the Treasury.

Welcome!
Your white balance is way off, it's hard to figure out the coin.
