Yes, PMD. Post Mint Damage. Done after the mint process. Took some good hits it looks like. Could be from coin wrapper, person or your bubble gum machine. Who knows? Keep looking and learning as I say. Good luck.

If we're focusing on the 9, it appears to be a hit taken in circulation--perhaps as noted above, perhaps coming in contact with something else.
