Maybe AU-50? I'm not very good at grading Seated coins...

does it look cleaned? If so, would that knock it down a grade? I gave it an XF-40 w/o thinking it looked cleaned.

I did question a cleaning, mostly due to what might be hairlines in the obverse east fields, and reverse fields above the Eagles head/left wing. Tough to judge. Sharper pics and a different angle may reveal more. Certainly sharper than XF40, though looking at it again, I'm leaning closer to AU50

I'll say AU-50, agree it might have been cleaned.

Hard to tell from the pics if it is cleaned and dull or has luster. Leaning towards the former, AU details. If uncleaned and with luster it would be AU 55 or better.

I tentatively say AU50, but need larger pics. I might become AU-Details Cleaned.

if the coin was cleaned we would see those hairlines crossing over the relief. from the photos presented I cant see that. I'm straight grading this one at AU53. the face and hair detail are stronger than a 50. the lettering is sharper than you would see on a 50 also as well as the arms definition and if the luster is as it appears I cant drop it that low
