@ara, first welcome to CCF. Second, we are going to need a much better shot of the reverse to see what you have there. Rather than taking a photo of your computer screen, can you please just take a picture of the coin? Thx.

to the CCF Screen shots are too pixilated to see any detail. Also please include a complete photo of both sides, even if you think it is unecessary.

Machine doubling. On the 1968-1972 cents that happened a lot. Even on the big DDO, you can see it: Note on the dates, they are the DDO-001, but note the yellow arrows, that is the Machine Doubling. (all in one direction on each strike, but different on each strike)

As pointed out, we don't do screen shots here. Try going directly from your phone's camera to the coin. We'll be happy because we'll be able to see it better (IF it's sharp!). to the CCF!

. Sorry to hear about your phone and lap top issues, but most of us here on CCF can't help members who post photos of their scopes screen. Those photos are not good enough for us to help you. So, abstain from those screen shots. We can wait until your phone/computer are working. John1

@ara, those new pics are quite a bit better. I think that I can see enough to say that this looks like damage more than a strike-through. The metal has been "smushed" around, most notably on the E and S of STATES.

This is the absolute best I can do. I used my husband's phone. So hopefully you all can tell more about it now. And thanks again for your opinions and patience.

Your images are getting better. The lighting angle for the last image is to low. When that happens, the edges of the devices glare when they get too much light. But every improvement is another step up on improving your images.
