What does the edge look like? Is your white balance a bit out of adjustment?

I see striations from a tired die. The lack of detail could be from grease being in the die when this coin was struck.

Over polished dies. Looks like it was a re-claim from a Feeder finger damaged coin that was polished to death. Also the die is showing heavy die flow lines so it was used for a time after the polishing. (but still used to strike even more coins)
