Are you referring to the curvilinear features which seem to radiate from the peach? Are they forming the edge of a stain? Are they incuse? I'd suggest giving the coin an acetone soak.

If the obverse is pushed out it could be damage or struck through string? If the coin is bent, it is damage.

I does look like some kind of a stain. Would love to see a photo of the obverse and one of the coin on edge.

My vote is for surface staining. Perhaps this area was covered by something which provided protection while the remainder of the coin slightly darkened. We see this with super glue on coins.
