Hello, while going through some old pennies I found a coin that I believe is clipped. I'm new to errors and variety so I'm looking for an experienced eye to give me their opinion.

Relatively minor clip.
Genuine or not?
I think I can see the slightest evidence of a Blakesley Effect on the opposite side, underneath the 'NA'(rev), same evidence on the rim adjacent to the tip of the bust (obv), and for that reason, my opinion:
genuine.

The Blakesley Effect is NOT the primary diagnostic for coins struck on a clipped planchet. This is especially true if the collar die is not round or for larger, straight clips. ALWAYS look at where the rims meet the clip. The rims should dovetail from the fields out to the rim edge (ground coins or fake clips are the other way around).

A simple glance at the rims meeting the clip says this error is 100% genuine.
