My friend found this coin with a smooth edge. Its also smaller and thinner than the other2018 Roosevelt dimes we found. Any information would be very appreciated. Thank you!

Interesting but in order to get a real idea of what's happened to it we need full pictures of the obverse and reverse. Also please crop the photos when posting.

Appears to be a Dryer Coin. We see a lot of these.

@sandi, those new pics are great and help to confirm that this has been mechanically damaged, such as being a Dryer Coin.
