But it is not a DDR. Note the full reverse? It is DDD, die wear. The first clue was EPU. Note how these devices are distorted? Also the central designs are enlarged. Also note the flow lines on the fields. All clues for the extreme die wear. (I applaud the use of a normal coin and the example you have) See how the devices are different from the side by side. The obverse die was not from the original die marriage. It appears to be a fresher die state. I will be using your images for my files as it is the first example of that late of a die state that shows this extreme die wear. Your eyes picked up on it, but with die wear being the issue, that is what you found. I would keep it to show to new collectors what an example of this looks like for educational purposes.
