It seems your mintmark is not damaged, but again, without a shaper, closer photo it's very hard to tell. For an opinion on a grade, visit CCF's grading section. Because they didn't sell mint sets that year as a set. If you wanted a mint set that year, you had to go to the mints to get the mint sets. Thus a lot of collectors often buy int sets to get better examples for their books. So without that option that year, they are looking for better examples for their books. So if you spot BU rolls of these years, they would be a premium coin as time goes on and the circulated coins age. So I would keep this one safe. The milk color is a distraction, but I would keep the surface color as is. Altering the surface could lower the value for this coin if done the wrong way. So I would leave it in a 2X2.
