fortcollins Pillar of the Community United States 3630 Posts	Posted 10/10/2021 12:36 pm Good looking coin, minimal contact marks for the grade. Mid VF, leaning toward VF-25, but I could be talked into VF-30. There isn't any real difference in value between these grades. The central strike weakness is evident on both sides. Definitely nothing unusual there. The surface condition makes me pause a bit. The grayish tint may just be lighting and camera angle. If the color is correct, however, the grayish tint may be PVC film. If it's on the coin, I don't think it's enough to detail the coin, but it may be worth keeping an eye on it to make sure it doesn't progress. Maybe time for an acetone swim?
