
to CCF. Definitely a weird looking mm but it does appear to be a die chip. Looks like a small portion of the die, right there inside the upper loop of the S mm, has chipped off. At first glance I thought to myself "inverted mint mark" but I'm not familiar with this happening on a 1969 Lincoln. Pretty neat find.
Edit: I did go back and study the known inverted mm which according to Wexler's happened on the 1946 Lincoln. I compared the type-008 mm, which is what yours is listed as on the
Lincoln Cent resource site, and yours is consistent and correctly oriented. Just FYI.
