Miss Italy21 Valued Member United States 163 Posts	Posted 10/15/2021 06:02 am I realize someone mentioned that they stopped punching quarters in early 1990, but it sure looks like doubling on the MM and "In God We Trust"? Tried to get a close up, but not sure if it's going to come out? Having problems with lighting... Lips, also? If it's not possible for this year, is something else going on? Looking for breaks, but I'm not seeing any? Report this Post to the Staff

Note the listings for quarters dropped off in the later part of the 1980's On Variety Vista: http://www.varietyvista.com/09b%20W...Listings.htm Just a few for the 1990's on the Proof quarters. Wexler's listings only show 2 year listings for quarter DDO for the 1990's: http://doubleddie.com/721634.html Not sure of the year when the dies were changed over the single squeeze dies. But pretty much they are duds for that decade. As for the die wear, that die wear on the edges of the devices gets worse as the die are pushed beyond their limits.
