Hi All,

I think I found a nice 1958 D RPM. Having trouble attributing it though. Do you all think it's an RPM? Maybe the 1958-D RPM-012

Thanks!

12 has a couple of very noticeable die gouges at 5:00 that I don't see on yours. 58 has a ton of RPMs, I have about 8 rolls that ether I can't id or are not listed. But it's fun to try to match the markers.

Please post your images horizontal with the date level. That makes matching up mintmark locations a lot easier.

After you correct the angled date image, check these points:
1.Note the locations of the mintmark. (in order to be a certain die the horizontal and vertical has to be a match.
2. If it looks correct, then check the split serifs on the mintmark. While they look alike, like a fingerprint, there are even differences on these. The angle of the split is often different.
Different year with two different issues of the split serifs and rotated mintmark punchings.
Locations and angles of the splits take sometime to grasp.
