Yes I'm still new to coin collecting and I need some help with this coin I just found! It's a 1993 quarter that looks strange and the side of the quarter it's doesn't look like the other 93 quarters

This is colloquially called a Dryer Coin, though I suspect that this coin attained it's look through something other than a drier as it doesn't look like a typical drier coin. Either way the coin is unfortunately just damaged.
