to CCF. Not a Cud. Cuds always include the rim. Check the glossary on the left side of page for more info.Looks like PMD to me.

If it were a Cud, there would be no rim and the edge of the die would have to break off the die. I'm not seeing a Cud. It is an incuse mark on the coin (Note the light direction) So I agree it is damage to the coin.
