I think I have a 1961 d repunched mint mark and I could use some help in finding out if that's the case. This is my 1st question on the form and I'm pretty new to coin hunting. I have a lot of old coins to go over so I'll have a lot of questions for you.

At 1st I thought it might be a double double double double double cause of the notch at the top of the 6... But like I said, I'm new to all of this.

Appreciate your help in advance

Are you looking at the belly button lint inside of the mintmark? If so, that is not a RPM. A toothpick would probably remove it? The largest RPM punching would be thin looking:

Why will they be that thin? Because the punch has to be hit several times to set the mintmark into a hardened die.

I apologize I'm just trying to get the hang of this picture optomizer. I don't have any experience with taking pictures of coins like this.
it seems to be having some lighting issues

Your last two pics are pretty good. Looks like you might need to put a filter over your light source to cut down the light glare a bit.
