1942-P War Nickel Doubled Die?

Hello all!

I have a 1942 War Nickel that has some interesting things going on, it has what looks like doubling on the 2 in the date and the Y in Liberty. Do you guys think maybe it is doubling? Or just damage and lamination issues.

I think the tops of the 2 and Y are the result of hits (damage), and the lower part of the Y is Machine Doubling.

Note the opposite sides of those areas? Note how they are smaller on that side? The coin was damaged along the way. Just like a wrecked car, you can blame the maker of this coin.

That is actually a lamination issue.

OK, there does look to be a slight lamination that runs from the S in Trust to the L in Liberty
