Found this one looking through some rolls and noticed the column next to Lincoln didnt look righe and I think I see some separation in the seriffs of unun.want to see what everyone thinks ,thanks for looking again

I'm feeling it here.... Looks raised to me and does not look like PMD and it further appears to have the shape of the adjacent column. Haven't looked it up to see if there is a match but I have personally never seen a potential DDR on a 1996-D in this particular area. Most of the DDR's for this year and mm I believe occur right inside the columns where Lincoln sits.

There looks to be a lot of residue on the coin. Probably a cup holder coin at one time. Either stains or syrup or both appear to be affecting your coin. You might rinse it in water and pat dry to see what is really going on. (You might remove one out of two issues?)

Bay 7 & 8 coop.I have seen them before but do not remember what caused it.

Well the false column is the vertical in that bay that is part of the design.
Here is an overlay:
1996-D-Lincoln-Cent-Doubled-Die-Or-Die-Chip
1996-D-Lincoln-Cent-Doubled-Die-Or-Die-Chip
1996-D-Lincoln-Cent-Doubled-Die-Or-Die-Chip

But it would take 1.0 degrees to be that much. But it could possibly a DDR that hasn't been considered yet. Depends on what is seen on the other bays?
