Looks raised to me and does not look like PMD and it further appears to have the shape of the adjacent column. Haven't looked it up to see if there is a match but I have personally never seen a potential DDR on a 1996-D in this particular area. coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 10/19/2021 3:02 pm There looks to be a lot of residue on the coin. Probably a cup holder coin at one time. Either stains or syrup or both appear to be affecting your coin. You might rinse it in water and pat dry to see what is really going on. (You might remove one out of two issues?) Here is an overlay: But it would take 1.0 degrees to be that much. But it could possibly a DDR that hasn't been considered yet. Depends on what is seen on the other bays?
