Looks legitimate to me.
Copper can change to many colours depending on the
environment it was exposed to.

Not a fake. I search through thousands and thousands of Lincoln cents from month-to-month. I come across many witch look like your coin, some with even more saturated colors.

It could be toning. They start off as a bright copper red colour and with circulation become first less bright, then turn brown from handling. There are about 1000 different tones within this range.

Looks good to me, It's a nice red tone
New coins don't start out red, they start life as a nice golden or brassy color then as the patina starts, they go red then fade to brown from the environment and the oils from handling.
