1982 D Large Or Small Date Lincoln Cent?

I'm having a little trouble trying to determine whether this is small or large date Lincoln Cent.
I know there's a bit of damage to it but it seems like there's something else weird going on with it. Not sure what and since I'm not the expert I will ask here.
Can anyone please help me? It does weigh in at over 3g so it is copper.

Large date. Use the search box here on CCF,lots of info.

That would be a large date. Compare images of large and small dates for '82 cents. Small dates appear 'farther away' from the rim than large dates. Suggest googling '1982 cent large and small date' and check the images.

usually I have no problem determining whether it is a larger small date. I also did the hole google search thing and I found plenty of examples. For some reason though with this coin I guess maybe just the damage on it or something that was impeding my ability to determine. Thank you very much for the help.

On the large dates, the bottom of the 2, when inverted looks more like a '7':
1982-D-Large-Or-Small-Date-Lincoln-Cent?
Also the space to the right of the date to the rim is wider on the small dates:
1982-D-Large-Or-Small-Date-Lincoln-Cent?
