1982 D Large Or Small Date Lincoln Cent?

My2cent Valued Member United States 484 Posts	Posted 10/22/2021 08:42 am I'm having a little trouble trying to determine whether this is small or large date Lincoln Cent. I know there's a bit of damage to it but it seems like there's something else weird going on with it. Not sure what and since I'm not the expert I will ask here. Can anyone please help me? It does weigh in at over 3g so it is copper. Report this Post to the Staff

Small dates appear 'farther away' from the rim than large dates. Suggest googling '1982 cent large and small date' and check the images. Report this Post to the Staff

My2cent Valued Member United States 484 Posts	Posted 10/22/2021 09:45 am usually I have no problem determining whether it is a larger small date. I also did the hole google search thing and I found plenty of examples. For some reason though with this coin I guess maybe just the damage on it or something that was impeding my ability to determine. Thank you very much for the help. Report this Post to the Staff
