tropicalbats Pillar of the Community United States 6116 Posts	Posted 10/24/2021 9:44 pm I don't usually pick these up when I see them, but this nice AU is in stage A, without the die chips, and I find them to be far more rare in this die stage. Slabbed PCGS it would likely go about $80 at AU55, and the slab would cost about $40. But since I could put it up at auction on ebay and get $40 I wouldn't actually make anything. Plus, the stage A feature is much easier to note in a normal old ebay auction than with a slabbed coin that doesn't say it on the label (and PCGS wouldn't put it on the label). So the die stage may add $20 to the coin, which would be easier to realize on ebay, on an unslabbed coin. Hope that makes sense. Report this Post to the Staff
