Damage to a coin, does not make it worth extra value. It turns it into a cull coin and this one is just worth face.

Could be wrong but I believe that this coin was used to bypass an old style screw in type fuse in an electrical panel. Amperage was being drawn in this circuit when this was inserted and the bad fuse was tightened down onto it. That's why it was blown to kingdom come. Damaged the heck out of the socket in the panel too I'm sure.
