Amazing toner! But that being said, it's an obscene amount to pay for any Lincoln Cent from the 1950's....

There is only the one, true BadThad. I am honestly not a fan of these high dollar toners. Not that I don't like the look and I know it's in a slab, but I always question if the toning is real or artificial. Is it just a common date coin that someone "enhanced" for fun and profit?

Look at that! It is outside my budget or collection desires though.

NGC slabbed, got a CAC sticker... I'd jump on it if it had a Coin Community Forum (CCF) sticker.

Even though it's in an NGC slab and CaC approved , It looks too much like AT . If the coin is truly a Genuine Bullseye Rainbow I still would never pay that kind of money for a 1953-S Lincoln especially if it's only a 65BN .

Both NGC and CAC have deemed that it is obviously market acceptable toning . No such thing as natural or artificial toning ..today's term .. Market acceptable toning . This piece has the look of coins typically found in 1940s , 1950s Double US Mint Sets . I once sold a raw 1954 Nickel that had incredible toning (found in a set) well North of 500. It traded hands in a holder later on for much more !

It may be "market acceptable" but to me it looks AT. That said, buy/collect what you want. John1

This looks like AT to me. But it is beautiful. Not worth that much to me.

I just saw several toned Lincoln's at the PAN show in Pittsburgh, all NGC surprisingly, but couldn't get my phone camera to represent them properly. One was the most vibrant purple I've ever seen. A few of these might one day be contenders at auction to that one.
