I have pics I can send. I can get a pic that I can upload, but the printing on the back side is reversed. I'm looking for a value of this penny.

@kev, first welcome to CCF. Second, I'm sorry that you are having trouble uploading pics. Here is a link to the tutorial:

I look forward to seeing what you have there.

We will need a clear photo to confirm.
It could be either an error or damage.

I'm guessing that if the wording on the reverse is normal with a faint version of the lettering reversed it is more than likely what we refer to as a "vise job". Two coins were set face to face and struck or squeezed thereby transferring a reverse image from one coin to the other. But this is total speculation.

Photos took me a while to figure out too. But I figured it out even though the last computer I felt comfortable in front of was my Commodore 64.

it's nearly impossible to help you without photos. Please photograph the entire coin, both sides, then closeups of areas of interest. Thanks!

With the devices mirrored, it was not created by a die. (A die is a negative, a coin is a positive) If the coin has a negative design, it was transferred off a positive coin. So it is not a die error, but an altered error. Now, how can this be a mint error? It would have to have transferred on the coin? So looking forward to see what you have. If it has incuse rims on your coin, then it was off another coin.

These are not mint errors, but done in a garage. So waiting for images to see if this is what you have. (my guess that it is. We see this often)
