Hello all!

A friend of mine has a steelie that might be a doubled die, and I am not sure. Is it just damage of some sort, or a doubled die?

How about a photo or two without writing on it? Coin might be in such bad condition it doesn't matter

Agree, sharper images without writing would help.

Looks like Machine Doubling on some of the devices. Not a DDO. The affected areas are reduced. Also note all the areas you are looking at are on the outside/inside areas, when you find Machine Doubling. On a doubled die the devices are enlarged in the center areas of the devices:
