Here is one of my better error coins in my collection. I picked this up from a dealer several years ago for only a dollar, only because he didn't know if this was a case of genuine clips. I saw the Blakesky effect and knew this was good.

Nice coin at a nice price. You might want to add double clip to your title, so others have an easier time searching for info in the future.

IMO it's not clipped.
The Blakesley Effect should be MUCH more prominent with clips of that size.

The Blakesely Effect is not a consistent effect. Some very large clips are absent the effect entirely.

The clips look to be the proper curvature and the rims taper towards the clip. I agree that the clip looks genuine.

A shot of a clipped edge would confirm it though. If the cladding is flipped on the clipped edge relative to the unclipped edge, it's a genuine clip.

, also larger straight clips can leave a very subtle Blakesley Effect.

Whenever I want to validate a coin struck on a clipped planchet, my eyes always go to where the rims meet the clip - if the rims dovetail in from the fields, it is legit.

No doubt whatsoever that both clips on the op's coins are legit. Nice error, thanks for sharing.
