2016 Lincoln Shield Cent / LSC Wdoubled Die Obverse / DDO -014 (Interesting Comparison)

Turns out I've made two previous posts about this cent, where I found it. However, it turns out that one of these posts actually was correct, and the other was not. The earliest post is the correct one: http://goccf.com/t/376004&SearchTerms=WDDO-014 Notice how the 2 is curved in a specific manner, along with the 0 being stretched. Now look at the most recent post, which was the incorrect one: http://goccf.com/t/404641&SearchTerms=WDDO-014 Neither the 2 nor the 0 have these details. Luckily when I realized this, I went back and corrected it. Anyway, back to the coin at hand: It was fairly easy to narrow this one down, as there is only one doubled die listed on Wexler's that shows this type of doubled flow on the date. There is no die scratch near the nose, meaning that this is an earlier stage. Report this Post to the Staff
