Could anyone give me an idea on the grade of this coin? And maybe a value? I'm very new to this.

Ryder 8 as denoted by the 9 pine tree obverse. Good looking coin which is considered the most scarce of the three "Vermontensium" varieties. Looks to have been cleaned in the past IMO. I would put a grade of VG8 possibly VG10 on this specimen. Nice planchet as most of these coppers were struck on poor or defective planchets. They harnessed water power via a water wheel and stream to mint these coins so most were weakly struck. Unfortunately, not a huge collector demand even though this coin is full of early Colonial history. This coin would most likely sell between $400-$600. Congrats. Nice coin! You should read this:
