Came across this 1994D penny and it looks like DD to me. note the 1994 D. also the Liberty and IN GOD. some doubling in the reverse side.

Not a Doubled Die, what you have is called Die Deterioration Doubling ( DDD), a worthless type of doubling.

A close-up photo would be helpful, but it appears your coin is undergoing split plating, with the next stage exposure of the zinc core. Is is not a good thing, but very commonly seen. No doubling, not a mint error. No premium but still worth 1 cent.
