I got a pile of change and saw this right away. I'm not very experienced but maybe it's something mint related? Please let me know what you thinks going on here. And if there's any value.

I honestly have no idea, but I'm excited to see what Coop (and really everyone else) has to say

Post strike damage--in this case, staining. I agree with the cupholder effect, or similar. Imagine the coin sitting in a really moist environment with something placed on top of it, slightly off center. Part of the coin becomes stained, the other part less so. These are not terribly uncommon.

No matter what the cause, it is PMD.
That could not happen during the striking of the coin.
Value 1 cent

Yep, just a stain created by another Lincoln Cent coin (judging from the radius of the mark) and having a liquid spilled over them and left for a long period of time.

Looks like a cup holder coin that was left with a little brew on the coin and it stained the surface of the coin. Just a spender.

I agree with all of the above. Chemical reaction most likely created in a cup holder with either coffee or some soft drink. Post mint damage. Value: 1 cent.
