Thanks you. It's a common date that appears to be in VG or perhaps slightly better condition using the Sheldon scale. A sharper reverse image would clarify.
When you say 'mold', do you really mean gunk and foreign debris on the coin? The vast majority of Lincoln cents are not worthy of sending in to a third party grader ( TPG) unless you really think they should be. Now I hold onto all wheat cents regardless of age and condition, since there is around 3 cents worth of copper in them. A general rule of thumb are many Lincoln's pre 1935 tend to be better dates especially with mintmarks; yours dated 1930 is a quite common date, average circulated, therefore not worth very much. The two big main keys of the set are the 1909-S-vdb, and the 1914-D, and it is best to get them certified by a TPG. Slightly lesser but still valuable keys are the 1909-S, and 1931-S, and the teens mintmarked tend to be all good keepers, and several nicer dates exist in the 1920s. Hope this helps.
