I've added some additional photos from my hunt on Tuesday where I found the 1917 Walking Liberty half dollar.

Here is a better photo of the 1917. I decided to leave some of the dirt on it.

Here is the 1913 Lincoln Cent. Like the Walking Liberty, it must have circulated for decades before being lost since it's so worn.

And finally, the spill of twenty Jefferson nickels. They ranged in date from 1960 to 1996. All were found in about a foot and a half square in the middle of the path in the woods. I'd love to know the story behind this spill since it's all nickels.

I think you're right to leave the Walker alone.

Strange that it was exactly a dollar's worth of nickels — but half of a roll. Not something most folks would just carry around loose.

Again, great finds with the >100-year-old LWC and Walker!
