Ok sorry again guys I try to look up these so I don't bug to much but I have no idea what's up with this one Or where to begin I haven't seen any videos or links on this could be damage (Or rot) with the Ring of Death could be an error I'm not familiar with. I'm not for sure what to look up for it. The front has line or indent the back where it says United States of America and the hugh or gold color on back. THREE MORE PICKS BELOW SORRY IF THESE PICS WASN'T CLEAR

@short, no need to apologize for wanting to learn more. It is why we are all here.

The circular groove on the front is likely damage from a wrapper rolling machine. The toning on the rev is from some sort of environmental or chemical exposure. Some folks like toned coins while others don't.

Ok well it is a little hard for me to see what you have then. Maybe Ridge Ring?

It looks like a form of die wear, akin to Ridge Ring.

Looks like rim ring to me from a worn die.
In picture 3, above the 89 it looks raised, basing this on the lighting angle.

When the last polishing was done, it left that area altered a bit on the die. Not a doubled die, just a die event.

That's what I thought was rot because t when I looked closer it like sinks in after that line so I thought something hevey disgorged it or like bent it but it's flat on the other side so I was confused
