coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 11/14/2021 7:41 pm As mention the die was polished after Ridge Ring was noticed. When polished, it remove more the devices that were highest, thus making them weaker and that is what you are seeing. Report this Post to the Staff

But I'm not going to look at and compare EVERY single quarter that was minted from 1932 to present to see if you have a doubling match on your unknown year quarter.
