Just wondering if you guys can give some advise on this Lincoln Shield cent regarding a possible Cud at the bottom of the bust southeast of the VDB. Also wondering about the flat spots in the W on WE and the U in TRUST. Thanks in advance for any help here.

Raised or indent? I do not think it is a Cud.

Right spot for a Cud, but I agree that it looks more like struck through copper foil or perhaps an unusually short rolled over Rim Fin.

If you look under it, you should see plating.
