Very new in coin hunting and this forum. Sorry, the picture is so pixled. It is the best picture I can get at this time. I will try and get a better picture this week.

The tail of airplane appears to be broken. Any thoughts on what this might be?

From the picture supplied, it looks like a deep gouge or cut displacing the metal, PMD

Hard to tell... is it a gouge or a die chip? Is it raised or incuse? Screen shots are useless.
