I think I finally may have found my first Struck Through Grease. This caribou is missing its eye, ear, jaw line, chest fur and even the bottom H is gone entirely along with the beads(5-6 o clock). What do you think?

the spot at the bottom of the chest is unusually pitted like a waviness from grease to me. Thanks for your reply Silverwolf!

There does seam to be a fair bit of wear on the high points but it's hard to tell all in all from the pics. I'd toss you one if I didn't give my other example away.

I can definitely see the missing details it's just hard to see if it's been scraped or if it's a partial Grease Filled Die. Try taking a picture with just natural daylight.

Remember, these are multi-ply plated coins. This kind of 'wear' would expose the copper plating and steel.

It's a legit strike through error. That said, with that level of circulation wear, it's more of a learning/conversation piece, with little value above face. Still, finds from the wild are always fun!

Very true SPP, I forgot to take that into account. These modern coins show the copper even after minor scratching so this deep would definitely be showing copper if it was PMD. Very fun find and good eye coinman91.
