Hello coin community family I'm Michael and I'm a stumped and I'm reaching out to my coin community family to confirm or disprove the info I've been given regarding a Memorial cent I found in my change bout 5-7 years ago and I've kept it ever since.

A 1969 D over D and the kicker is it's also a proof Memorial cent and I've been getting some exciting info.

Ive been told that its a unbelievable super rare and highly valuable and should not exist error proof with a repunched mint mark. I was told it's highly valuable because the history for proof cent is that they only minted proofs at Philadelphia and they changed mints in 1968 to San Francisco till this day all proofs should have S mint mark mine doesn't.

Denver never minted proofs I was told it's a wrong die planchet error some how got in public buss strike/stuck on proof planchet with a D/D repunched mint mark I was told it's very rare error cent. The Denver mint has never minted proof cent and that their is history of Denver ever minting proof cent in proof history all should have a (S) mint mark from 1968 till 2021.

I was told it's super valuable and it's the only 1969D proof cent known by a coin expert bout 5-7 years ago coin community is this true info

, and there are very useful links in the yellow bar above to help you post photos. I too would enjoy seeing something new in the coin-world. Now proofs post 1959 regardless of mint should be incredibly shiny and with astounding luster, anything else would be not likely a proof, unless you have a 1969-D mint set with a repunched mintmark which is a bit more probable.

As stated, without pictures, no one will be able to confirm what you have.
